Our Mission
At Storybook , our mission is to teach children to read and to love reading.
We believe that phonics is essential to "Crack the code".
We believe that all children can learn.
We believe that developing a love of reading early is critical for learning success!
Our Story
Opening in 2024, Storybook was imagined by Rachael Bradley, a lifelong educator, to fill the literacy gap that exists for many children today. Our hope is to serve the community by offering phonics based reading classes for early readers, and remediation for older elementary students.
Our Founder
Our founder, Rachael Bradley, has been an elementary school teacher and leader for over 20 years. Most recently she has served as the Head of School, for Thales Academy, a private classical school in Franklin. She has over two decades of experience teaching children ages 3 to 12 how to read, via the Direct Instruction teaching methodology and with the Reading Mastery curriculum. She has a demonstrated passion for educating and caring for children.
